Once the blacksmith's shop and now beautifully converted in contemporary style it boasts a luxury kitchen balcony and a private orchard garden whilst its log burning stove ensures cosy evenings after a delightful day's exploring the glorious landscapes and myriad attractions of the Dales Yorkshire Moors and Durham. The village pub and shop are just 600 yards from the door and the pretty market town of Bedale (2 miles) offers a good choice of shops restaurants and leisure facilities and Leyburn's popular market cinema and wide range of shops are 9 miles. Castle Bolton Fountains Abbey (N.T.) and Aysgarth Waterfalls are among many delights within a short drive.
