Once the old blacksmith's and recently renovated to a very high standard it is ideally located to explore Snowdonia's many attractions. Nearby Bwlch y Groes – the highest pass in Wales – leads to the spectacular lakes at Bala and Vyrnwy (RSPB reserve). Dolgellau and Machynlleth are 10 miles Aberdovey and Barmouth 20 miles.
